Ticket sales and wristbands
- When are we open? Please see the opening hours in the opening calendar
- Where is the ticket office located? The ticket offices are located at Dinosauria’s main gate, in the souvenir shop, Vahakabinet and at the indoor playground in Hyperdino. In addition, if necessary, another ticket office can be opened at Dinosauria’s main gate. See the area map. There is no ticket sales at the campsite reception.
- How is the ticket office open? The ticket office opens at the same time as the park opens. The ticket office is open until the park closes.
- How do I avoid queues? During holidays, the most customers at the ticket office are usually right after opening, from 11 am to 1 pm. The most congestion is at the Dinosauria ticket office and less at the Vahakabinet or Hyperdino ticket offices.
- What are wristbands needed for? The wristband is an admission ticket to the water and adventure park Dinosauria, the Wax Museum and the indoor playground Hyperdino. The wristband must be worn on the wrist throughout the visit.
- At what age can children come unaccompanied? Children over 10 years old who know how to swim can come to Visulahti together. Children under 10 only with an adult guardian.
- I won’t be swimming or using amusement park equipment, do I need a wristband? All visitors to the Dinosauria area must have a wristband.
- What time can you buy an evening ticket? You can buy an evening ticket from 3 p.m.
- What payment methods do we accept? In Visulahti, you can pay with the following means of payment:

- Can I buy a ticket in advance? You can buy the ticket in advance from the online store.
- I bought e-tickets in the online store, how do I use them? When you buy e-tickets from the online store, you will receive an order confirmation in your email with a link to the tickets. Tickets can be downloaded to a mobile phone or printed on paper. Upon arrival in Visulahti, they are presented to the ticket seller at the ticket office of the water and adventure park Dinosauria or Vahakabinet. Download or print the tickets before arriving at the ticket office.
- I bought e-tickets from the online store, but I didn’t receive an order confirmation in my email / I can’t open the tickets? In the online store, it is possible to create a customer account, by logging into which you can find the purchase history of all the e-tickets you have purchased. The tickets are saved in the customer account and it is possible to download them from there later. You can also create a customer account afterwards using the same email address where e-tickets were previously ordered. If you have created a customer account and cannot find tickets, please contact our reception: info.visulahti@puuhagroup.com, 020 5010 500.
- Can the wristband be used to pay for purchases? The wristband cannot be used to pay for other purchases and it cannot be loaded with a balance.
- Does a personal assistant need a wristband? The assistant of a customer who needs individual support can enter the park free of charge. To verify the need for an assistant, we accept e.g. an EU disability card with an A marking indicating the need for an assistant. The prerequisite for the assistant’s free entry is that the person being assisted has paid for the entrance ticket. The assistant must be at least 18 years old and we accept one assistant per one assisted person.
- Can I leave the area and come back in the same day? The wristband is valid for a day, during which you can leave and return to the area freely through ticket sales.
- How is the Have fun again ticket valid? The “Have fun again” ticket is valid from the day after the day of purchase until the end of the summer season. Have fun again ticket is not valid on the day of purchase.
- I have an online ticket/coupon/gift card/season card whose validity period has expired. What do I do? The validity period of online tickets, discount coupons and gift cards is indicated on the ticket/coupon and/or mentioned in the online store in connection with the purchase. They are not valid after the expiration date, and the validity period cannot be extended.
Water- and adventure park Dinosauria
- What activities are there in Dinosauria? Discover Dinosauria functions.
- What are the restrictions on the slides and pools? The person using the slides & pools must always have sufficient swimming skills considering the difficulty level of the attraction. More detailed instructions can be found on the equipment sign of each slide. In the boat slide, the minimum age limit for the user is 6 years and the maximum weight limit for the boat is 100 kg. There are no other weight, height or age restrictions in Visulahti’s pools and slides.
- What is the depth of the pools? The Water Play children’s pool is 0.3 meters deep. The large pool is divided by fences into three parts: the children’s side and the middle block are 0.5 meters deep and the deep pool is 1 meter deep.
- How are the pools, slides and amusement park equipment open? Dinosauria activities close 15 minutes before the park closes. All maintenance work is done outside of opening hours, but Visulahti reserves the right, if necessary, to maintain pools, slides and amusement park equipment also during opening hours without prior notice.
- What kind of swimwear is allowed? Visulahti must have a swimsuit intended for swimming. Swimming shorts can be worn, and also, for example, for health reasons, a more covering outfit made of swimsuit fabric can be worn. It is forbidden to wear other than bathing suits in the pools. Swimwear must not have zippers, rivets or anything that could scratch the water slides. Visulahti is not responsible for broken swimwear.
- Does my child need a swim diaper? All children of diaper age must wear a swimming diaper in the pools. Swimming diapers can be purchased at Dinosauria’s souvenir shop.
- Are the pool waters warm and clean? All waters in the water park are heated, but the weather can cause fluctuations in temperature. In cool weather, the temperature of the pool water is at its lowest around +20 °C, and in hot weather up to +27 °C. The municipality’s health inspectors, as well as our own staff, regularly check that the pool water complies with the industry’s requirements.
- Are the pools open during rain and storms? The pools and slides are open during the summer season whenever the park is open, rain or shine. When a thunderstorm is approaching, the pools may have to be temporarily closed for safety reasons, but in most cases they can be opened quickly after the thunderstorm front has moved to a safe distance.
- Can swimming toys be taken to swimming pools or slides? Swimming toys can be taken into the pools, but not into the slides or into the sauna facilities. Please always consider other swimmers – for example, large tires or mattresses are not allowed.
- Where is the first aid station? The actual first aid point is at the end of the shower and sauna building, but first aid supplies are also available at our other points (e.g. Dinogrill, souvenir shop and motor tracks).
Storage of goods, changing rooms and saunas
- What kind of changing rooms are there in Visulahti? There are several changing rooms in the pool area; both curtained and lockable.
- How do storage lockers work? There are two different sizes of lockable storage compartments. Larger storage lockers work with a 2 € coin and can be found behind Dinogrill. Smaller storage lockers work with a 50-cent coin and can be found behind the toilet building next to the dressing rooms.
- One cabinet is enough for 1-3 people, depending on the amount of goods.
- The lockers work with one 2 € / 50 cent coin. The coin returns when the cabinet is opened.
- Coins can be exchanged at Dinogrill or at the souvenir shop. Card purchases are not possible, so please bring cash.
- Visulahti is not responsible for lost goods.
- Is there separate storage for valuables? There is no separate storage space for valuables.
- Can strollers be taken into the changing rooms or pools? There is room for baby strollers in the pool area, but please do not leave them in the changing rooms or on the passageways in the way of other customers.
- Where is the bargain shop? Items lost during the same day can be asked from the watchers, Dinogrill or the Dinosauria souvenir shop. Found items are delivered to the campsite reception at the end of the day.
- Found items are stored in Visulahti for 3 months.

- Do you rent towels or swimsuits? There are no towels or swimsuits for rent in Visulahti. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the selection of our souvenir shop, which sells towels and various swimwear for women, men and children.
- What saunas are there in Visulahti? The Dinosauria pool area has a shared steam room for everyone. In addition, the Visulahti Campsite has a beach sauna that you can rent for your own use.
- Do you need a cloth to take with you to the sauna facilities? You can go to Dinosauria’s steam room in a bathing suit, and the use of a cloth is not required. Users of the beach sauna must use a cloth. Disposable cloths for saunas are available at the beach sauna.
Restaurants
- What meal options are available at Visulahti? Check out general info about our restaurants.
- Can I eat my own snacks? Eating your own snacks and grilling in the park area is allowed. However, the restaurant’s premises are mainly reserved for the restaurant’s customers. Bringing glass bottles to the water park is prohibited due to the risk of shards. Consuming your own alocohol drinks is prohibited in the serving areas. Bringing your own alcoholic beverages to Dinosauria is also strictly prohibited. You can see the locations of the barbecue shelters on the map of the park area.
- What outfit can you wear to restaurants? You can also come to all restaurant and cafe points in a swimsuit.
- Are there alcoholic beverages available? Alcoholic beverages are sold at Dinosauria Dinogrill, at the campsite reception and at Restaurant Kulkuri.
Accommodation
Holiday Bungalows
- How long can you check in? The reception is open 24/7 during the summer season. If you are arriving after 22:00, we hope that you contact the reception in advance.
- How do you rent the cabins? The easiest way is to book directly from online booking. You can also inquire about cottages by phone or email. The cottage must be reserved no later than the day before the start of the reservation (online reservation) or for same-day reservations by phone by 12:00 p.m.
- Do you have a separate allergy cabin? The six-person Deluxe holiday home is allergy-free. In other holiday homes and camping cabins, a pet may have also stayed overnight at some point. However, we take into account if the customer has allergies and make sure that the house or cottage is carefully cleaned.
- Can I bring my dog to the holiday home? Pets are welcome, but we hope that you inform us about your pet when you arrive at the latest. We charge a one-time pet fee of 15 euros for those staying in holiday homes and camping cabins. If the pet has not been notified, we charge a cleaning fee afterwards.
- Are towels and sheets included in the reservation? The holiday home includes a number of linen sets according to the capacity. Sheetsets are not included in the camping cabins, but you can rent them at the reception for 12 euros/set.
- Where can I leave the car? You can take the car to the yard of the rented apartment for the duration of the cabin reservation. Before the reservation, the car must be stored in the Visulahti public parking lot and after the reservation, it must be taken back outside the gates.
- How can the cottagers move to and from Visulahti? Those staying in the area can move freely.
- Is early check-in possible? This depends on the booking status. You should inquire about this at the reception closer to your arrival, when the booking status is up to date and the staff can tell you if an earlier check-in is possible. An additional fee may be charged for early check-in.
- When is the handover of the cabins? The keys to the cabins must be handed in by 12 noon on the day of departure.
Camping
- Is it possible to reserve a spot at the campsite in advance? We do not accept advance reservations for the campsite. There are 200 electric and 200 non-electric places in the area, so there is plenty of space.
- How much does one night at the campsite cost? See up-to-date prices.
- I have an SF Caravan / Camping Key card, can I get a discount? With both cards, you get a -3 euro discount on the basic camping fee. In addition, the Camping Key card gives you a -10% discount on camping cabins.
- How can I reserve an electric spot for the campsite? The Visulahti campsite has a wide variety of electric sites, which is why we do not accept reservations.

- When does the rental period of the campsite end? The rental period ends after the amusement park closes. In June and August at 6 pm and in July at 8 pm.
- Can I use the beach sauna? Guests staying in Visulahti have access to a free morning sauna during the summer season every day from 8 am to 10 am. At other times, you can also rent the beach sauna for yourself. You can rent a beach sauna at Visulahti’s reception. Find out more about the beach sauna here.
Other questions
- Are the beach chairs for a fee? Beach chairs are free, please consider other customers.
- How does parking work? There is a free parking lot at the main gate of the area. The campsite is only available for overnight guests.
- In which area can you smoke? We hope to be considerate towards other customers. Smoking only and only in designated smoking areas. Dinosauria’s smoking area is located near the staircase tower of Venemäki and is marked with signs. The instructions also apply to e-cigarettes.
- Is filming allowed? You can photograph the members of your party. Attention other customers.
- Can animals be brought into the area? Animals are not allowed in the dinosauria pool area, but they are welcome in other areas of the adventure and amusement park. However, pets must be kept on a leash in the area and any litter must be collected. Pets can be brought to Visulahti cabins by prior arrangement. An additional fee may be charged for bringing a pet to the accommodation.
- Who owns this place? In March 2007, the Puuharyhmä Group and, through it, Visulahti were merged into Aspro Ocio S.A.. Aspro is a leading European amusement park and leisure center operator.
